I used sheetsresume.com because I figured they’d clean up the grammar and catch the usual resume mistakes, but that didn’t really happen.

When I got it back, there were still basic errors sitting there, and a few sentences sounded awkward like someone just skimmed it and called it done. I mean, proofreading is kind of the whole point, so that was on them.

I ended up fixing a bunch of it myself, which made the whole thing feel like a waste of money. I definitely wouldn’t go back to them for editing.

I tried using this for my resume, but it didn’t parse well at all. It missed some basic sections that should’ve been easy to catch, which was frustrating. Definitely NOT what I expected.

I mean, it’s fine, I’m not super worked up about it or anything. I did get a couple of interviews, so technically something happened, but none of it turned into anything real. For me, it just didn’t feel worth the time or money

That said, I still didn’t feel totally comfortable trusting it right away. There isn’t much clear info out there, and I couldn’t find a lot of solid reviews to back it up. I also get annoyed when sites leave things vague in their policies, because those little loopholes can make it hard to know what actually happens with your info. I’d say it’s probably okay to try, but I’d be careful about entering too much personal stuff until you’re fully sure. 3 stars from me

The cover letter I received felt really generic, like a basic template where they just dropped my name in. It barely connected to my actual resume, so I was left in the dark wondering if anyone had really read through my background. I ended up rewriting most of it myself before I felt comfortable sending it out. For what I paid, I expected something much more personalized.

I was disappointed with the editing experience. My editor kept responding late, and some of the comments came across as rude rather than helpful. I was hoping to make my resume stronger, but instead I felt like I’d lost time and missed an opportunity to actually improve it.
